Our Inspiration

I always like to say that our eyes are so much more open when we travel. We explore and observe–even feel–with a heightened sense of awareness. And we always come home completely enriched, not only by the experiences and the amazing sights we see, but by the people we encounter along the way. They are the inspiration for The Traveler's Collection.

Our goal is to give back to the local communities around the world by supporting artisans and entrepreneurs who are creating exquisite one-of-a-kind pieces. Each of the items in the collection tells a story of the artist who created it, the culture it represents and the region it supports—a modern artifact, so to speak. We invite you to browse the site and read about the wonderful individuals who are bettering their lives through their creative works. And as we visit new places and discover great talent, we will add to the collection, so please check back often.
