Story

I admire the way an artist can look at an object—like a river stone—and transform it into something even more beautiful than nature intended. These fine plates from Haiti are intricately hand-carved by sculptors with an eye for detail. I love the leaf patterns as they add a touch of the outdoors to my table. And I’m delighted to support Haitian artists at this critical time in the country’s rebuilding effort.
