Story

In Africa, the landscape is a magical source of inspiration. I was awed by the wildlife and sweeping vistas during my journeys there, and I love to collect works by local artisans who capture the sheer magnificence of Africa’s great outdoors. These delightful home goods from Bridge for Africa incorporate natural elements and are wonderful expressions of Africa’s resplendent beauty. Each will add a bit of splendor and whimsy to your home. -JG

A member of the Fair Trade Federation, the group has established long-term relationships with rural African crafting groups to create true partnerships and focuses on marketing, distribution, education and product development. At least 50% of the product price is paid to the artisan groups and the remainder of the proceeds is reinvested in community development, job creation and training initiatives.
