Argentine designer, Daniel Lombardi, has an eye for unique stunning handbags and a mission to better the world. To create his designs, he partnered with Talentos Civil Association, a non-profit organization aiding minorities in Argentina, in 2007. His vision was to develop the skills of low-income Argentinean women and support his community. The women are trained in the art of knitting, macramé, crochet and other needlepoint techniques, as well as in the process of finishing items with high-quality accents. They earn much-needed income to support their families, and Talentos provides a community development program for mothers including parental guidance and workshops for children to help with their school work, English language classes and a kindergarten.
