Story

A friend of mine, who travels a great deal for business, bought a treasure chest for his daughter and fills it with trinkets from his journeys, each accompanied by a note. The chest will be sealed until she turns 16 years old, and then she will have these incredible treasures to discover. I was so charmed by his story that I had to find treasure chests for our collection and came upon these gems from India. They are 20th century creations, made using traditional metalwork from ancient Rajasthan—nickel and silver over wood with cloisonné enamel (enamel separated by brass wires). Fill it for someone you love. Enjoy! -JG
