All bracelets are designed and hand-beaded by a Masai women's group in Kilgoris, Transmara, a region adjoining the Masai Mara Game Reserve in Kenya as part of the Anne K. Taylor Fund community project. All proceeds from the sale of these bracelets go directly back into the project to benefit the community. With previous profits, a grain-grinding machine was installed, which is leased to neighbors, ensuring a steady income. Profits also funded the building of a small shop to supply necessities to the community.
